Since 1950s, using grids to organize layouts has become a design standard for effective communication. For many designers today, it is an essential part of the working process that ensures precision, order and clarity. Other designers, on the contrary, prefer off-grid structures in favor of flexibility of expression.
Our Workshop introduces students to the anatomy of Layout Design — from concept development to principles of grid systems, typography, and content organization through Adobe InDesign. Students will study the importance of Modernism in the history of graphic design and its relevance today.
The final outcome for each Workshop Participant will be a personal poster, created to put in practice the new skills, as well as to build thoughtful and meaningful experiences.

We have the power, the energy and the weapons to origin existence from our inner space. We create the metamorphosis of concepts into material, and finally, we give them identity: we make them exist”.
