We have designed this coloring activity for kids ready to go in just a few minutes time. This coloring page in Armenian is a great way to teach your child about taking care of our environment while letting them have some fun at the same time. A3 paper size is recommended.

Երեխաների հետաքրքրությունը գրավելու եւ խաղի միջոցով շրջակա միջավայրի նկատմամբ հոգատարություն սերմանելու համար, մենք մշակել ենք այս «Ներկիր ինքդ» էջը։ Ներկելով այն՝ երեխաները ծանոթանում են տարբեր նյութերի քայքայման ժամանակներին՝ սովորելով, որ մեկ վարկյանի անփութությունը կարող է հարյուրավոր եւ անգամ հազարավոր տարիներ մնալ հողի շերտի տակ։ Առաջարկում ենք բուն ներկելուն անցնելուց առաջ սեղանին խառը դնել պատկերված առարկաները եւ խնդրել երեխաներին, որ իրենք դասավորեն՝ ըստ քայքայման հերթականության։

In January, the first-ever European strategy on plastics was adopted in Strasbourg, projecting that all plastic packaging on the EU market will be recyclable by 2030, while consumption of single-use and micro plastics will be heavily regulated. In Armenia, where capitalist consumerism is quite a new choice, it will be challenging to create substantial behavioral change. Consumers need to be aware of the intrinsic benefits of avoiding creating waste, and make incentivized choices.

As designers and social entrepreneurs, we see plastic waste prevention as both an opportunity to foster awareness and build community as well as grow our country’s economy. Our message is simple: you can use everyday trash, like plastic bottles, to make beautiful, new products that people all over the world will want to buy. 

We plan to kick off our project with a series of educational events in Yerevan, such as recycling workshops, public installations, movie nights and presentations about how developed nations are striving toward increasingly circular economies and zero-waste lifestyles. We also plan to launch a mobile studio traveling to the regions of Armenia and expand the events there. Our proven experience in creative communication will guide us in engaging with the people who partake in our programming in an empowered, stimulating and positive way.
