Armenia has over 68,000 registered SMEs, which account for nearly 98% of all businesses in the country. However, their contribution to the economy is only 30%. Experts believe that one of the reasons for this mismatch is the lack of innovative technology in business models and operations. The IT sector is growing rapidly, but most small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) still do not see the importance of digital tools and transformation methodologies for unlocking their full growth potential.
At this event experts and entrepreneurs will share their insights on what it takes to build a successful and smart business. You'll hear first-hand stories of trials and errors, successes and failures.
The event is organized within the RECONOMY project by the UEICT and Helvetas Swiss Intercorporation, with financial support from the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida).
